Director’s notes:

My intentions, as director of the film, is to capture dramatic situations around the tour experience, trying to describe as a man like Cesare, with his pyrotechnic fantasy, could afford critical situations and eventually delusions, pushed by a strong willpower to emerge from the risks of marginality, without betraying his roots and his territory, who doesn’t want to leave. I would like to approach it both with an “observational” way, both provoking situations between the different actors in order to have a tense end emotional narration of a difficult but spectacular challenge: transform a very local story into a global and universal one.

Producer notes:

We believe that the project GIRO DI BANDA, has all the potential to enter a circuit of Auteur festival, having a cinematographic ambition and telling with a style that we imagine original, a complex figure of great cultural value. We also believe that the musical character of the work, the curiosity that can produce an artist of extraordinary talent, so little known but with such a large local following, reach an audience much wider, predominantly youthful, in cinemas and in the main digital platforms.
