4° FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE DEL DOCUMENTARIO “VISIONI DAL MONDO – IMMAGINI DALLA REALTA”

MILANO, 13-16 SETTEMBRE 2018

The 4th edition of the International Documentary Festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (“A Window on the World, Images from Reality”) took place in Milan (Italy) from the 13th to the 16th of September 2018 at la Triennale di Milano.

For the 4th edition, in fact, the Festival has chosen one of the most significant places in Milan, the international cultural institution open to the city: la Triennale di Milano.

After the success of the last edition (5-8 October 2017), with a venue of more than 4000 people attending the screening of 30 documentary’s films and with a participation of more than 200 professionals  at the Industry Forum section “Visioni Incontra”,  the 4th edition confirms a great success of the public with over 4000 presences.

The 4th International Documentary Festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (“A Window on the World, Images from Reality”) wants to investigate and report on the most important events of contemporary world, understand its changes and give a vision of our future.
 
The 4th International Documentary Festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (“A Window on the World, Images from Reality”) wants to narrate universal stories and small little personal stories, with all different accents and colours, from drama to comedy.

The 4th International Documentary Festival “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (“A Window on the World, Images from Reality”) wants to dive into the society we are living in, the politics, the economy, the work, the culture, the social issues, but also into our most private emotions, our everyday private life.

The Festival worked on a rich calendar that transformed Milan for four days in the feature documentary capital, offering to a passionate audience  the opportunity to reflect on the contemporary world through the original narration of the “cinema du reel” . The Festival Mission is to to promote  in Italy and abroad the Italian production of high quality feature documentaries , find financing, discover new talents.
