For another year, from 16 to 19 September 2021, Visioni dal Mondo will bring passion for documentary in Milan. This edition, rich with innovations, will return in presence in Milan, at the Litta Theatre and at the National Museum for Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci. With the aim of reaching an even wider audience, the 2021 edition will also maintain its digital formula available on the official Festival Platform www.visionidalmondo.it.

Italian Contest, reserved to Italian filmmakers and, from this year, divided into two sections: short and medium-length films (less than 50’); feature films and medium-length films (more than 50’). The Visioni dal Mondo Italian Feature Films Competition Award of 5,000 euro and the Visioni dal Mondo Italian Short Films Competition Award of 2,500 euro will go to the winners.
International Contest, dedicated to international independent productions. An international Jury will assign the Visioni dal Mondo International Contest Award, of 3,000 euro, to the winning title.
Contest for Best Documentary Project, which, traditionally, will take place during the first two days of the Festival. Visioni Incontra is the Festival Industry Section, dedicated to pitching work in progress projects and one on one meetings with potential financers. The Contest for Best Documentary work in progress Project will include, among others, a 2,500 euro prize for the winner.
