Milan, 15 September 2022. The inaugural evening featured the world premiere of DUE CON, directed by Felice Valerio Bagnato and Gianluca De Martino in the presence of multiple rowing champions Carmine and Giuseppe Abbagnale, the protagonists of the documentary film. Produced by Solaria Film and Peacock Film in collaboration with Rai Documentari and RSI Televisione Svizzera, DUE CON tells the story of Giuseppe and Carmine Abbagnale, multiple world and Olympic rowing champions and Italian heroes of the 1980s and 1990s. The brothers, born in the suburbs of Pompeii and trained by their uncle, divided between hard work and study, tell the story of their incredible international successes for the first time in a documentary, through unpublished repertoire, testimonies from fans, journalists and historical opponents.
