THE DOVE OF PEACE
SYNOPSIS
The “Dove of Peace”, is a marble sculpture designed and made by Pablo Atchugarry. The documentary describes the stages of the work, from the design to its exhibition. In addition to the curiosities related to the more practical aspects of the works, the values that permeate the work will emerge: the theme of peace, culture as a vector of a social message and biographical ideas on the life and career of the artist. The images of the MACA, the Museum of Contemporary Art dedicated to him in Uruguay, will comment on Pablo’s relationship with Lecco and the curious contrast between the busy but reserved life in the Lombardy province on the Como Lake and his great fame in Uruguay, where she’s a real celebrity.

DIRECTOR’S NOTES
The documentary retraces the stages of the work, exploring the historical and cultural context that inspired it. Beauty, craftsmanship and manual work are the main aspects that will emerge during the documentary. He will have a cinematographic style with filming of the working phases and interviews shot in significant environments for the artist. Finally, this project represents a cross-section of the sculptor’s life, divided between Uruguay and Lecco.
PRODUCTION NOTES
The documentary tells the story of the creation phases of the Dove of Peace, from its design to its display. The director has in fact been following the artist’s work for many years and has collected quality unpublished material. We will carry out interviews with the protagonists, which will be conducted in environments that are significant for the artist, such as the laboratories and the house where he lives, in order to create an authentic and immersive atmosphere. We will close the filming at the Rosazzo Abbey where in September Pablo will exhibit his work, collecting the exclusive direct testimony of the artist.

Director and producer from Lecco, he specializes in the art of storytelling, with particular attention to stories of innovation. Through his films, he explores the world of entrepreneurship, highlighting the crucial role of individuals and the environment in shaping the future. He also cultivates a passion for nature, art and beauty.
