Synopsis:
SHE tells the story of the the largest industrial park of Samsung, in Vietnam, with 80,000 workers. 80% of the workforce on assembly line are women, they work in 12-hour shifts, day and night, with extremely tough rhythms guaranteed by hard control, inside and outside the factory. The inability to speak out against what is happening inside the factory becomes an opportunity to create a laboratory in a symbolic space, in which the courageous protagonists enact what is happen daily on the assembly line.

Director’s statement:
This project is the result of over 10 years of fieldwork in Vietnam. This is an unique audiovisual project about the biggest samsung factory all over the world. We have acquired very sensitive informations in the most important electronic factories of the world. Up to now no one, neither Vietnamese, nor foreigner got access to the suburbs around the factories in Vietnam and has been able to tell a story about this kind of topic. We invested time and resources to protect the anonymity of the women workers.
BIOGRAPHY
Director, Producer, anthropologist, journalist and DOP. He trained at the Escuela Nacional de Realizacion Cinematografica in Buenos Aires and in Rome as executive producer. In 2017 he directed Nimble fingers, the Italian documentary produced in 2017 most awarded in the world. Parsifal collaborated in several international documentaries – between them in Cuba and Vietnam – awarded in several international film festivals.
