Director’s Notes:

In telling the story of Ristretti Orizzonti, we wanted to understand their work to reproduce it in a docuseries. Prison is isolating, separating civil society from inmates. Ristretti Orizzonti is a seed of change that makes prison transparent, building bridges between inside and outside. We transferred this approach by telling Amin’s story: a detained person used to being judged. In our documentary there’s no judgment. The only directorial tool was listening, the same one used by Ristretti Orizzonti.
