Egon Schiele - a personal encounter
Concorso Visioni VR
Brief synopsis:
It’s a cold night in late October 1918, just before the end of World War I. Vienna is blighted by disease and hunger. The painter Egon Schiele, in a febrile delirium, begins to draw a portrait of us in his studio, while involving us in an intense conversation. Through flashbacks, we delve into the world of “Vienna 1900” and experience key moments of Schiele’s life. This VR experience is not only a tribute to Schiele’s artistic oeuvre but also an innovative opportunity to experience his life up close and personal. Schiele tells his story and asks us questions, with our answers influencing the storyline – turning this into our own, deeply personal encounter with the artist.
