Visioni incontra 3rd edition – Industry Forum, September 13th-14th 2018, Triennale di Milano

The “Visioni dal Mondo, Immagini dalla Realtà” (A Window on the World, Images from Reality) confirms for the fourth edition from 13th to 16th September 2018 at the Triennale di Milano, “Visioni Incontra“, the desired Industry section dedicated to professionals sector. The “Visioni Incontra” competition for the work in progress projects is officially open. Deadline 15 June 2018.

After the successful edition of last year that has seen an extraordinary participation of over 200 presences among broadcasters commissioning editors, distributors, tv buyers, buyers, producers, sales agents, festivals directors, the organizers confirm and present the new edition of Visioni Incontra, the Industry section dedicated to professionals sector. Coordinated by Cinzia Masòtina, screenwriter and story editor, Visioni Incontra will take place in the first two days of the Festival, Thursday 13th and Friday 14th September 2018, at la Triennale di Milano, Viale Alemagna 6 Milan.

Visioni Incontra aims to select Italian documentary films work in progress, with particular reference to contemporary reality, to present them in a pitching session to an audience of professionals. Individual meetings will follow between professionals and producers/directors of the projects – one-to-one meetings – for funding, co-productions and distribution agreements. In addition to pitching, Visioni Incontra will arrange panels and round tables about the audiovisual panorama.

Deadline for submission of work in progress projects June 15th 2018. To participate it is necessary to fill in the pre-selection form (entry form) available on the website www.visionidalmondo.it, section Industry. Applications for admission with the related projects must be submitted by independent productions, and already funded for 30% of the budget, by June 15th, 2018. The selection of projects will be managed by a committee of experts. The winning project will win the 2,500 € prize “Visioni Incontra Migliore Progetto Documentario”.
